Tastefully Overcaramelized is a food blog by Abe and Ann about food, cooking, and eating in Seattle.
Abe is precise, perfectionist, and susceptible to food magazine subscriptions. He has a day job engineering software. He also makes truly lovely sauces.
Ann doesn’t need to follow recipes, and can make up baked goods on a whim. She is a nurse, but she really wants to be a midwife and bake cookies shaped like women with sour patch kids in their tummies.
They each have a three letter name starting with “A”. Ann thinks this is good luck. Abe, if pressed, will note that you can more or less flip each’s last initial around to get the other’s, but he doesn’t think this is lucky either way.
